Billie Deason visited with her granddaughter Megan, and Lytell and Jan came for a visit, then stayed for dinner. It may have been a small group, but the quality was there.

Louisville is a very quaint little town and served as Georgia's capital until 1806.  The 1794 GA Legislature sold 35 million acres of land along the Yazoo River in what is now Alabama and Mississippi at 15 cents per acre. It was done by James Gunn, a Senator from Jefferson County. The legislation was later overturned and the crooked lesislators involed in that sale were not re-elected....
I also learned that the County Seat of Louisville was named after King Louis XVI of France.  Heas a great supporter of the Colonies during the American Revolution but still lost his head on the guillotine later on.  French people are so ungrateful!!! (No reflection on Denise!).

Thank you for a great Rally!!!

See you in August at the Bean Pot Campground in Crossville, TN!
