GEORGIA RAMBLERS: "Rambling Since 1974"

___________________________________________

Our April rally the 15th-17th was at Fair Harbor RV Park so we could attend the Hawkinsville Harness Races.  It was the beginning of a great year of rallies as only three coaches were able to go in February to Brooksville, Fla. for the FMCA-SEA Rally.  They were Joe & Jan Willis, Lance & Alice Chapman, Robert & Mary Ann Routh. We had a great time as the seminars and fellowship was very good.

The April rally was hosted by Waddy & Joan Batson with co-hosts Joe & Jan Willis.  They started off with a delicious spaghetti dinner Friday night.  After dinner some went to Hawkinsville to the fireworks and country music while others played cards or stayed in their coaches to watch the ballgame.  Sat. morning we were served pancakes with sausages.  After breakfast, some went to the harness races and had fun even with the strong winds and red dirt.  Others went to a flea market and antique shopping.  Sat night we went to the Sideboard Resturant for a southern buffet dinner, then back to the campground for games and cards.  Palm Sunday was French toast and sausages.  Waddy gave a very inspiring devotional on God's love followed by the group singing a hymn. Our next rally will be June 14-16 at Pametto Cove RV Park in Cleveland, S.C. The co-hosts will be James Peek, Cheryl Hinkle, Frank & Myrna Gonzalez. Those attending were Waddy & Joan Batson, Lance & Alice Chapman, Frank & Myrna Gonzalez, Bobby & Shirley McElhannon, Russ & Janet Payne, James Peek & Cheryl Hinkle, Larry & Rachel Phillips, Basel & Denise Queen, Robert & Mary Ann Routh, Joe and Jan Willis.  Guests were Tammy & Mike Eagle, Roynda Hill, Jane & Buddy Hix.
